jd, you guys have it both was. more capacity is great and lower capacity is great. what can i say? btw, did that article say they are making money on those now? NOT! btw, toshiba has been making drams for quite a while. they aren't just jumping in.

oh, and wait until the 100-200% dram growth begins to SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW...

Jeff, Toshiba's semiconductor division moved into the black as of late September 1998 and is making significant profits now.
