If it seems I support Clinton's actions you are wrong. I do not. I don't understand how Communism, Fascism, conservative, liberal, left wing, right wing, ground ball, fly ball, or any of this have anything to do with what Clinton is accused of. Well, maybe the ground and fly ball apply, but certainly none of the rest.

There seem to be 'radicals' on any side of an issue. I have been reading some damn extreme things from both sides of this issue and I wonder what is wrong with just being a plain American who either thinks Clinton should be removed or left alone to serve out his term. If I disagree with you am I a Fascist or a Communist? Must I be a Liberal or Conservative? What if I can't field a ground ball or catch a fly ball?

Everyone wants to label someone who is opposed, and I find that wrong. I am not a pimp if I support Clinton. I honestly don't think Clinton is a 'pussy', as has been suggested. My friend who would like to spend five minutes in a room with 'our' (like it or not) President, teaching him a lesson, is wrong too (but I still think you have the right to say it if you must).

Maybe I have had one beer too many (I like Molson, and all American beers, except Pabst, never could get used to Pabst) but that is my right too. I may not be as astute as most of you and I really don't care. I have brought up my son and daughter to think for themselves and not to label people. I have never in my life voted a straight ticket (not saying it is wrong, see I can tap dance) because I still don't believe there are any absolutes in life. There are probably some good politicians on both sides and Clinton isn't one of them (I told you I didn't support him), but he isn't a Communist or a Fascist. I think he is just a plain old American who has made some horrible mistakes.

This thread is dedicated to being a non-American (my opinion and I am sure I will hear plenty about that). It is filled with innuendo, untruths, yellow journalism, and plenty of BS. That, in my opinion, comes from both sides of the issue (now all of you can attack me because I really don't care what ANY radical, pro or con, has to say).

What happen to middle America? Can you intelligentsia (had to look that one up) just forget the masses that make up this great country? I am sorry, the polls are flawed, they never predict an election correctly (oops, wife just said they usually do), so why should we think they are right on this issue? The time has come to face the facts. The majority of Americans want this to go away without a trial. It really doesn't matter if you or I think they are stupid and uninformed--it is the will of the people. Dredge (definitely no pun here) up 100, 50, 25, 5, or one year old essays, they don't mean crap. This is here and now and all that matters. I love this country and want us to move on, with or without Clinton.

If I may (tears in my eyes) ask, please don't be profane in your comments to me. I don't mind criticism, but I do dislike the profanity.

Hey, if you guys are so damn smart, is AOL ever going to move up?

Love ya,

John
