EC,

The fun's only just beginning on this play. So if SAS wants their mill back when the CM expires in 200x?; for the Taylor mine ore. And if GME wins control as you are indicating, they will then be faced with a MAJOR decision of milling. Most likely milling will be on on site(depending of inflection haulage distance for potential alternate custom milling sites). I am sure that there are umpteen idle mills up there (I will have to check with the girls at the Zanzibar). On a more serious note, I'll will guess that one option will be dismantle and move the Kerr (Deak), Armstice, or something from the Virginiatown Area. But one of your recent posts (you're making me think Ed)caused me to dig up an old Royal Oak Cyber AR.

Then this came to mind:

<Taken from the Royal Oak 1996 AR>

As previously mentioned, in 1996 there were closure costs and write-down of resource properties and other assets of $37.6 million related to the Hope Brook and Colomac mines. The Hope Brook mill and mine equipment will be dismantled after closure in September 1997 and relocated to the Matachewan project in Ontario for longer term economic benefit to the Company.

<End of Quote>

Not sure if the HB mill was moved to Matchewan; I was under the impression that it was. I know that they were looking at hiring someone I know to direct the relocation of the mill. Not sure what the capacity was either! This is one area where I would SPECULATE that the McCloskey group would be able to shine. And if Exall is still in charge, they will not get any deals from Matchewan. Do you think that Royal Oak needs the money? Comments?
