Eurologic Systems Outlines Strategy to Deliver Innovative Data
Storage Solutions Optimized for OEM and Targeted Vertical Markets

********************PRESS RELEASE 1

BOXBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 1998--Eurologic Systems today outlined its strategy to deliver innovative data storage solutions optimized for the OEM and vertical marketplaces.
Central to Eurologic's strategy is its modular product concept, which allows the OEM to configure a family of data storage solutions.

Eurologic said it is focusing on providing storage solutions to the OEM market and several targeted vertical industries, including film & video, prepress and imaging. In a related announcement, Eurologic
demonstrated its commitment to the OEM marketplace by unveiling on Wednesday a relationship with Dell Computer Corp. Eurologic's first offering for Dell will be branded as the Dell PowerVault 200S SCSI
storage subsystem, which was announced earlier this week.

Eurologic's strategy encompasses an innovative product development plan, together with a comprehensive sales campaign and a focused marketing program. In the product area, Eurologic's modular approach has enabled its OEM customers to offer a family of data storage solutions - from JBOD to RAID - in both SCSI and Fibre interfaces. Incorporating a common data storage infrastructure across a
range of products enables the OEM to offer a complete family of products with the same 'look and feel' while maintaining common Graphical User Interface (GUI), disk drive carriers, Versatile Environmental Monitors, Advanced Cooling Modules and power supplies.

The company plans to introduce a series of products in the next year. Its first was the XL500 Ultra2 SCSI Storage Array, which was previewed at COMDEX and officially introduced last week. Other products will
range from SCSI and Fibre JBOD through integrated RAID and enterprise storage solutions.

"1999 will bring about several new OEM relationships, advancement of our product offerings and an overall maturity in the company," said John Maybury, Eurologic's CEO. "The company is poised to continue its
rapid growth and will remain focused on what we know best - data storage solutions for the OEM."

Eurologic Targets Selected Vertical Markets

In addition to serving the needs of OEM customers such as Dell, Eurologic also has developed a comprehensive vertical market strategy focused initially on the film & video, prepress and imaging
marketplaces. The targeted markets all share a growing need for data storage, which addresses the unique performance requirements of image intensive applications. The requirements for data storage range
from high performance HDTV broadcast through high availability medical archiving applications.

"We have a lot of experience configuring data storage solutions that are optimized for a specific application," said Nick Thickins, Eurologic's Applications Marketing Manager. "By working closely with
application providers, we're able to deliver unique solutions which incorporate state-of-the-art storage technology and are often first to market. We are constantly looking at new vertical markets in an effort to determine the data storage requirements of each. We also are working to incorporate technologies such
as Storage Area Networking (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and clustering into these
application areas."

"The OEM marketplace is our primary target market and we feel this provides us with critical mass while
leveraging the company's strengths," said David L. Geene, Eurologic's Senior Vice President of Sales &
Marketing. "We are able to utilize this experience in establishing relationships in our targeted vertical
markets."

Developing awareness of Eurologic's data storage experience in the OEM marketplace is the cornerstone
of the company's marketing strategy. The company has over 10 years of experience in developing data
storage solutions for the European marketplace and more recently in North America. The company is an
active member in the FCLC, FCA (U.S. and Europe), SCSI Trade Association and the RAID Advisory
Board.

Recently Eurologic established its worldwide sales and marketing headquarters in Boxborough,
Massachusetts. The company is based in Dublin, Ireland, and has sales offices in the United States,
United Kingdom, Germany and France.

Founded in 1988, Eurologic Systems is a worldwide developer and manufacturer of high availability,
mission-critical data storage solutions. An ISO 9002 certified company, Eurologic has grown
consistently, tripling its revenues since 1997, and it recently announced a $10 million private equity
placement arranged by NationsBanc Montgomery Securities. Eurologic has developed close working
relationships with strategic data storage component manufacturers such as IBM and Seagate
Technologies which have helped to shape its own and its partners' future products. Seagate recently
named Eurologic its 1998 OEM of the Year for Europe and Asia.

Eurologic Systems Secures $10 Million From Private Placement;
Opens Worldwide Sales and Marketing Headquarters in Boston's
"Storage Technology Hub"

BOXBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1998--Eurologic Systems, Inc. today announced it
has secured $10 million through a private equity placement arranged by NationsBanc Montgomery
Securities. Eurologic, a rapidly growing OEM supplier of data storage subsystems, will use the
investment to fund company expansion and new product development.

Eurologic also announced it has established its worldwide sales and marketing headquarters in
Boxborough, Massachusetts, near Boston. The company's corporate headquarters and manufacturing
facilities are in Dublin, Ireland. Eurologic employs 170 people worldwide, including 30 in the U.S.

Eurologic has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months, based on winning a number of
large, international OEM accounts across a range of application markets. Results for the first quarter of
Eurologic's fiscal year 1999 (ended Sept. 30) increased 60 percent over 1998, and sequential quarterly
growth was approximately 30 percent. In addition, revenues for the fiscal year ended June 1998 increased
227 percent over 1997.

Paul Fox, NationsBanc Montgomery's senior data storage research analyst, said, "We estimate data
storage requirements are doubling every year. Eurologic is very well positioned to capitalize on this trend
with its strong technology and favorable customer base."

Eurologic's decision to base its worldwide sales and marketing operations near Boston reflects the
importance of the U.S. market to the company's growth, and the well-established data storage industry in
Massachusetts. "Eurologic already generates a significant portion of its revenues from the U.S. and is
firmly committed to growing our business in North America," said David Geene, Eurologic's senior vice
president of sales and marketing. "Locating near Boston also places us squarely in the center of a
storage industry hot-bed of talent and expertise."

Eurologic, founded in 1988, has established itself as a leading player in selected sectors of the data
storage marketplace. Eurologic's XL 400 storage subsystem product family has been designed to meet
the specific requirements of OEM customers, while the Voyager Series meets the needs of digital
imaging, video/broadcast, database and pre-press applications. These environments call for a combination
of rapid access, high transfer rates and large storage capacities. Eurologic also has developed close
working relationships with strategic partners -- data storage component manufacturers such as IBM and
Seagate Technologies, and customers including Siemens and AGFA -- which have helped to shape its
own and its partners' future products. Seagate recently named Eurologic its 1998 OEM of the Year for
Europe and Asia.
