Bill,
I did not get it. What is your point? You started with favorable comments and then you pitched new information exclusively known by you!
You sound smart but why did not you cover your short position when the stock was in the single digit?
I am not a very informed investor but I do work in this area and I know the competing products also. It is not that only one product is great in all aspects, they all have some capability very unique to them. While IDEAS is making grounds PDM will sure take this company to the value it deserves.
Good Luck all.
Nadim

Someone sent me a private message that I will share without giving their privacy away. They want me to lay off you guys and get back to one of my other favorite targets, PMTC.

For the record, the reason I am getting negative on SDRC is primarily because I believe it is ahead of itself at this price.

HERE GOES:

>>"Why don't you pick on PTC in the SI forum instead? It's much more fun, and more lucrative. They're making a big deal out of the GE win, and claim it includes Windchill. But here are their software license numbers for the last quarters:

sept 98 - 147,185 sept 97 - 162,872
june 98 - 141,239 jun 97 - 163,109
mar 98 - 162,558 mar 97 - 168,694
dec 97 - 152,367 dec 96 - 138,442

Their Sept 98 - Sales and Marketing expenses increased to $103,142 -
increased 3.4%
Their R& D spending was 23,186 - decreased 4.8 %
Doesn't sound good, does it?

What that tells me is that major players without a committed strategy for the midrange will continue to see seat erosion, and I expect that those numbers hold true for SDRC as well, especially with the bloodbath that continues in Tokyo.
