There are Y2K patches on the MSFT download site for both 95 and 98.

Ed, I don't think Windows 2000 is really an operating system for the consumer PC. If that was the main purpose -- there would be too much of a public backlash against the company. That is, another upgrade to win98. Eventually, maybe a year or two later, they may modify it for consumers. I think Rudedog mentioned something like this.
