Bid.Com mention on Herb Greenburg's column on The street.Com:

Speaking of Canadian companies: The noticeable exception to Internet mania are the
Canadian Internet companies. Actually, there aren't many of these, and the one that seems
to be getting the most attention these days is Bid.com (BII.TO:Toronto), an auction site
that liquidates business inventory to consumers and to businesses.

So why does its stock still hover around 5, and why is its market cap a mere $160 million
compared with about $12 billion for eBay (EBAY:Nasdaq)? The reason -- something you
probably never thought about: U.S. online traders can't invest over the Internet in the stocks
of non-U.S. companies that don't have ADRs or a U.S. exchange listing. As a result, these
stocks are immune to the U.S. day-trading crowd. (Take a look at the whining on Bid.com's
online Silicon Investor message board about this!)

Mr Pink,
Happy new year and many thanks for sharing your insights over the last year I have made a great deal of money following your picks, and this is my first posting here. I replied to the captain and tried to correct his ignorance. it was the least I could do after the many great ideas you have passed along. Do you know where to find canadian research on Bid.com. I bought it wed. and think it is a really interesting play.
Again many thanks to you and a happy and healthy new year to you and your family.
