Anyone have any thoughts on the recent weakness.Seems like the market can surge but IBM lags.

I don't think that they can split 2:1 because not quite enough shares are currently authorized -- at least not in the last 10Q issued. Does anyone know whether the number of shares authorized has been increased since the Sep98 quarter ended?

Could IBM split 2:1 tomorrow if they were so inclined, or does it take a vote of the shareholders first to authorize the additonal shares?
