Hello LWolf! Without sounding corny, isn't your sister's story what makes America great? The market represents the ultimate loan committee, where instead of detached bankers, the dreamers and the folks with capital come together to fund the future. That scene from "You've got Mail" is terrific, I imagine many in the audience knew exactly what she was talking about. The democratization of Wall Street is happening (or has happened) before our eyes.
