Does anybody have any numbers on Great Canadian Gaming? EPS? If a big U.S. company did buy out LCG then the shares of GCD would also have to go up. When are the 2nd quarter numbers out for LCG? How is the Vernon casino doing in regards to attendance? Well best of luck as the new year unfolds LCG should accomplish many great things.

Murr Man got an update on LCG today and thought some of you may find it interesting:

1. WIll announce decent Q2 results during the slowest quarter in the industry in the first part of Feb. There is a dilution due to exercised stock options (666,000) which will have an impact on earnings however it will be minimal.

2. Will probably announce the "OK" for Penticton and an aquisition (not completed yet) which will allow Goepel to up their 12 month targets $7.00 +

3. Vernon casino exceeding expectations.

4. Have been approached by no less than five companies wishing to acquire LCG (3 of which are US).

5. Significant PR work being done abroad including Alberta.

6. Sprott will expose LCG to additional investors in the next few months.

7. Appeared to have a very stable bottom in the low 3's and is now moving with more volume due to increased liquidity.

8. Kelowna casino on schedule as are numerous summer bus tours to the Okanogan. ($ "Cha Ching" $)

9. I believe that LCG stated that they had an earnings estimate for next year of something like $.85/share.

Not Too Shabby.
