>>>Billserv's strategy is to sign up clients who bill by mail — mid-sized utilities, credit card companies and cable providers for example — and serve as their online billing contractor. Billserv would present the bill to consumers in "virtual mailboxes" such as the CheckFree site or a computer user's e-mail, then process electronic payments for the clients.

Benny that works for me...anything or anybody who is out to fill the small biller void...presenting into CheckFree, and thereby the Banks and Quicken...is just fine. I expect, or hope to seem some alliance news here...about piggy backing distribution channels.

Has anyone done any research?

1. References below will show Mr. Long, Mr. Loch Mr. Jones formerly worked for Billing Concepts.

2. A securities fraud class action lawsuit was announced on 12/31/98 against Billing Concepts and various unnamed officers.

3. No connection that I know of but it is a heads up to spend some time looking at the company before investing. I was prepared to take a small position because .com is in the name but I will do some work before buying.
