Techstock '99: - Opening Act GNET Blasted "One After 9-0-9" from their wireless mics and instruments to their broadband dotcom set-top boxes, through their semiconductor touchpad mixing board, zipping to the Biggest Wall of Marshall Stacks, to rocking the frozen ground under your feet and your whole hokeypokey self Like waking up to a rocknrollr like GNET at Open. (SRCM, CNXT, CBS, SFA, SIGM, USAI, GE,T,
MSFT, AOL, a'la Plastic Ono Cyber-Demo 21st Century stage equipment).
The PA broadcasted a Warning Du Jour, "Watch out for the Tan Special K With Bananas, but the Strawberries are fine", before dedicating the "One After Nine-Oh-Nine" cover to Blue and Mooon. Kwinkydink, 'twas.
After that, (Or The Very Clone Of ?!) EP Himself materialized up front of the GNET band with his Memphis Backup Boys & Girls in a hullaballoo line, gave a crooked-smile and a bow preceding That "STEAMROLLER BLUES" Long Version that for a minute almost becomes like an endless GratefulDead jam. In fringes & sunglasses, throwing diamond rings off his fingers & scarves to the crowd, spiffy as Tony Bennett, bolting out of there before anyone could make a move...
Happy Elvis's Birthday From Backstage at Techride '99, Last Big (off-calendar)Fiesta of Our '98/99 Holiday Season.
AH Hahnh HUH "Good Luck Charm" on doo wops radio, gotta go...
Joanie

Moonman, Damn yellow dog puppy woke be up a 6AM, I had to tell him there is no trading today. It is a good sign that he wanted to get me up to trade. The market still has legs.
As far as your question, is it to late to play GNET, the answer is it is not to late. Granted if you bought it on Monday you would have twice the amount of money that you started with but there is a good reason why GNET could double again, all they need is some more good news. A split would not surprise me either.
We are different than many GNET players. We have been playing with GNET for over a year. We have watched GNET build an internet company WITH PROFITS. Now many others know about GNET and much has changed in a year. GNET is a player at last, they got some respect. I see them as having great management, making the right moves, in the right business. I also see a bunch of partnerships, mergers or buy outs in the year ahead. GNET is a great target for any major, why reinvent the wheel?
That most people do not understand internets just means more money for us. I don't know if they don't think, if they don't research or perhaps if they have become as confused as CNBC's "experts" and really don't know what they are doing with internets (or why).
If internets pull back on Monday I'll buy as I know what is ahead. YHOO's earnings are due this week. Question: Would you sell a stock before one of " the" players lets you know how they are doing?
Question: Do stocks tend to run in a sector after one of the big boy stocks blows away the street? Can anyone out there tell me if there is a meeting coming up on Wednesday that will give us even more information about the internets? Answer: there is.
Moon I'll post when I jump but for now I'm enjoying the ride. Some say we in an "explosive" move to the upside. One thing is for sure you don't want to miss such a move. BLUE
