RE: Something Different About This Rally?

Is it just me, or does this rally feel different than any of the other rallies that we've seen in IOM in the last couple years?

Some of the things I've observed in previous rallies that have been missing here:

1) Undue optimism. Previously, the optimism was rampant. This time, it feels much more reserved. Sure, we have a few who are expecting huge short-term gains, but most have realistic expectations.

2) Speculation. Previously, there have been rumors of what caused the rally. I haven't heard a single rumor during this rally.

3) Bad Press. Any time we've seen a rally before, the press has hammered Iomega. If they've said anything negative this time, I haven't heard it.

4) Individual Investors. Previous rallies have felt like herd movements. In this one, we feel like reluctant followers.

I think this rally has legs that previous rallies haven't had.

Any comments?
