OT - ETrade RT free only if you are an active trader
Defined as 30+ trades a quarter

Again, Datek is absolutely free for STREAMING RT quotes
This said, their system just crashed <g>

Gerald, E-Trade is free. Just have to sign up. Go to their home page. Schwab is also free (with an account, which is also no charge).

Actually I have accounts at both. I was unaware that eithers real time quotes included pre/post-market. I guess I should look under my nose first.

What good is free, when they are down most of the time? Go to Schwab and try to log in. Then try calling them; "Call back later!" is what they are telling you at a time when people need to trade.
