Bdog,

You famous guy you! lol!!

personal451.fidelity.com

Fidelity is not so crowded as to have any problems yet. It's a little more expensive but worth it to avoid aggravation.

banklessdog,
Discount brokers ranked -> astro.lsa.umich.edu

Alski's experience:
Farsight has great service. E-mail alerts are great, and real time. Free online bill pay is wonderful too. Down side is they've raised their commissions to $20 (after Schwab you might not think that's high), don't take stops on NASDAQ, and don't do options. If you're willing to park $2K in one of the Lindner funds, including their money market, you can get $15 trades.
farsight.com lindnerfunds.com

Waterhouse always ranks real high but I've no clue why, I think their webbroker software is the pits. I think how good Waterhouse is must be a strong function of how good your local branch manager is. The worst of 'em may be better than Schwab though. Can trade just about anything though, like Schwab; $12 market, limit, and stops.

Let us all know when you find the best broker!

Bdog,

I have been happy with Datek, although their servers have been a little slow of late, but they have vowed to fix the problem. Plus they have a real time streamer.
