news from Steve Riggins:

mac3d.com reports that not only will Quake Arena ship the
same time on the Mac as the PC, but "every licensee of the Quake 3
engine will be entitled to a free Mac OS port of the game"

Wow! Anyone who licenses the Quake 3 engine and makes a game will
get it for free on the Mac! This is a surefire way to make sure
games done for the PC will also run on the Mac day and date the same!
