NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Ardor for Internet stocks was unabated Friday, with many e-commerce and portal sites posting double-digit gains and reaching all-time highs as confidence in the sector's future soared.

Wall Street weighed in, reinforcing the view that the Internet is one of the hottest growth areas of the U.S. economy.
