T, ADX is just an example of a fairly conservative fund you can use for the domestic part of a diversified portfolio. I certainly don't think the holdings are cheap right now, though they are 18% cheaper than the market. And they pay dividends. I remember Madison. I like Tri-Continental. Baker-Fentress is brain dead as a money manager. Ditto for Source. At least Source has had some lucky picks in the past. But Baker hasn't been worth squat for decades. MB
