Yes, John..they do move up faster and in higher % terms..One of the reasons for this is that those investors who are late for the party..usually dive into theses stocks as they haven't run up as much as the bigger ones.....Also these stocks are thinly traded with small floats(somewhat like the InterNUTS), and so price moves are very volitile. Examples of these small cap names include, FGI,WFT,VTS,GIFI etc.

I would agree with this. Look at RON RIG DO, then all the 'smaller' ones like ESV GLM RDC FLC BHI to name just a few of the 30 i watch. It's funny in that 20-25 might be up on any given day, and the 5-10 that are not; are usually up a few days later when all the other ones are backing down. it's just like 'leap frog'....... I just wish i had $300,000 to invest, because i'd like to be a millionaire in a year or two....
