OG, and he'll have to pay at least $50/month for either, probably more. For Sup, no problem. But for the mass market, fugetaboutit...

Coral Springs, FL., served by the ISP channel (http://www.ispchannel.com) for over 6 months. 40,000 homes. 92% cable penetration. Roughly 80 cable modems installed.

Price is still WAY too high.

Cable vs Dial Up Access
I have been using cable modem for past 3 months and it's great - Always on line - Never wait for dial up to connect - Access AOL for 10.00 vs 21.00/month - SPEED-SPEED-SPEED- Downloading files/application softwear take minutes vs hours in most cases. Elininates need for extra phone line - cost 34.00 month for cable box rental + web access Thru Media One in Los Angeles

Enough Said!
