I've never heard of Digital Research or what you're claiming.

They created the CP/M operating system. QDOS (Quick and Dirty Operating System) was it's buggier version. Code was passed around back then just like it is now. When IBM needed an OS for it's IBM PC it went to Digital Research. What happen isn't clear, but Gates ended up "buying" QDOS for 50K, renamed it DOS (Disk OS), and the rest is history. The greatest thief in the history of mankind.

Also, have any prosecutors indicted Mr. Gates for stealing that code?

Us Dilberts would love to see him thrown in jail. He is the biggest lying, stealing, crook in the world. Microsoft was brought to court for stealing STAC code and lost. SQL Server is an older Sybase database. If they can't steal it, they buy it.

They have stolen numerous other developers. If you steal developers, you are stealing code. I've saved every program I've ever written. Yet, since the technology has changed so much I definitely couldn't use much of it WITHOUT REWRITING IT. Code for micron design written in 1991 is pretty useless for sub-micron design in 1999.

AVNT execs might be crooks, but they're smart crooks - just like Gates. I rather attack the dumb crooks. I'll admit, technically, the charts does not look good, though I'm no expert.

I would like to know if there is any precedent of a company "getting" another company from a suit.

Mr. B
