Hello Shalom and friends, A couple of prayer requests. My work partner Steve, that you all prayed into the Lord's hands lost his Dad this summer and his mother Tina is gravely ill with cancer presently. The prognosis is not good. She has been undergoing chemo and this is taking it's toll. I do not know where she stands with the Lord and I am attempting to gently encourage Steve in this area. Additionaly I am plagued with the memory of a young 13 year old girl we encountered who was suicidal not too long ago. Her history was that of sexual abuse when she was less than a year old by a trusted family "friend." Her parents were with us and they were receptive to the gospel in the limited time we had. The girl, Lindsey, in the hospital was holding a tele tubby doll that she would punch and it would say, "hug me." Heart breaking to say the least. My prayer is for salvation for all of the family and deliverance for this girl. I am hoping that the Lord will put me in there path again or another. God bless, John
