RE:Young

----Tony,
I was talking about the future. How many of those guys will be around in 3-4 years? Plummer and Brunell maybe. Not Marino or Elway or Young. or Testaverde (maybe) or Cunningham (supposedly). Like Miami, the 49ers will be catch drafting in the mid to late rounds and will be lucky to get another Rice. Young has taken a lot of head blows. Remember, he played for Tampa Bay in the 80s.
49ers will be good but no Super Bowls for a while. <G>

Jim

Good to see you finally noticing some of them Vikes. ;-) Afterall, the Vikes this year have one of the most potent offenses the NFL has ever seen. Moss has taken the spotlight away from every other receiver in the league as a rookie. So far, he has been THAT good and deserved it. Hopefully, he can stay healthy with Carter and Cunnigham in the playoffs. If so, I don't think anyone can beat them.

<< Coaches that go back with the 9ers are now saying he's better than Roger Craig was. >>

Isn't that a joke. I think Hearst is exceptional, but I watched Roger Craig for many years and no one high stepped and caught passes like he did. I do NOT like Ricky Watters at all (hated watching him score in college and he was playing for my team!), but one could argue that even Ricky at the niners was better than Hearst.

i hope the niners win so the Vikes can play them. i think it could be another VERY exciting game, but with a different outcome. ;-) Us people from Minnesota are a little shy from pumping up the Vikes too much (ie. we are 0-4 in Superbowls as you know) so i'll quiet up now.

all imho
