Motorola to offer CDMA phone soon

LAS VEGAS—Motorola announced plans to commercially introduce the
SC3160 phone, a new entry-level Code Division Multiple Access wireless
phone. Commercial availability in the Americas for the SC3160 is slated
for the first quarter, said Motorola.

The company said it has developed a new look and feel for its digital
handsets. The CDMA SC3160 weighs 5.5 ounces and has digital mode
talk time up to 280 minutes.
