Thanks for the additional link. Somehow I knew that would be the response re. Kaz, and perhaps rightfully so. However, with numerous warnings from the company itself regarding material adverse effects if they could not hold their interests there, I am still uneasy about the conclusion. Of course, I'd also rather view it as a laudable business decision that was made because it suddenly became a bad idea to do business there. But I'd be inclined to view it differently if they were forced to lose their interests there due to a continued lack of funds, as I believed they warned in their reports.

I know you are more familiar with the area and the politics, etc. I seem to recall many exploration companies headed there about the same time ESSI did. Come to think of it, isn't Noranda involved there?
