Uhhh, I wouldn't go taking Calandra as gospel. I usually keep my opinions to the boards, but for some reason I've found myself having to write Thom Calandra. Other than that, I don't think I've written a letter to an editorial source in two or three years except to point out serious stylistic or operational problems with their column. That is to say, he's wrong or appears misinformed a lot; so, even if he is ignoring the controversy about MLRE, he's probably doing it out of ignorance, rather than discretion. Any sign of life in the new building, yet? --Blair
