Bruno and Thread, I also missed this on the MMCA link... mmca.org The security code issue is something I have noticed for copywritten material such as music and may be an answer to recording industry's headache. Perhaps it could also be applied as unique identification/authentication similar to that used in Smart Cards in case you wished to do some electronic banking on your cell phone while out on your yacht.
