VLNC can't compete with Sony is pure nonsense.

Especially in new product development, small
quick companies beat the big guys all the
time.

10 years ago IBM booked about $1.5B (note the 'B')
profit in their mainframe storage business.
Now they breaks even on hardware in that division.

Check out EMC:
bigcharts.com
$4 in 1993, $15 end of 97, $95 today.

IBM had already owned the business for years and EMC came
in and ate their lunch, dinner and desert.

If this kind of investment makes your nervous
go buy Sony! You want all the return and no risk.
Get out if you don't have the stomach to stick with
it. Nobody ever believed 3 dudes from Mass could
build a very complicated product with complex
mfg process and beat IBM. That's why their stock
was $4 in 1993. And look how long before they took
off. Do you have the stomach or not?

BTW: The Japanese major companies are famous for
for announcing 'vaporware'. They don't have an SEC
over there so standards for disclosure are totally
different. I've worked directly for and with
several and they are just as capable of screwing up
as IBM was, too.
