Add: Without question this is the "put up or shut up" year for VLNC. It'd be borderline tragic, from my point of view, to have them "drop the ball" on such a market window and have it slammed on their fingers by the competition simply because they were unable to translate what appears(based on all available "status of production line info.") to be a competitive advantage into an actual market sector share THIS year. If they delay into next year.....well.....let's just say the competitive field changes dramatically, eh?

So for all us 703 speculators(that number courtesy of the recent Edgar filing) this year is KEY! And me thinks no one would argue with that.

John~

Speaking to competition, I very definitely remember that Bellcore has developed an improved version of their original PLiON battery and gave a press release in regard to it, maybe a year or two ago. I just searched bellcore.com and didn't find the press release, but there may be an old (unsearchable) reference to it on this thread. When mention is made to improved batteries, I wonder if Lev means the newer Bellcore technology or VLNC's technology. Batteries will definitely remain a moving target.
