Just finished watching WSW and Rukeyser's Money Guide. I'm sorry everyone won't see both shows in sequence. Abby Joseph Cohen was terrific. She's still VERY bullish and said 'this year the U.S. economy will be SupertankerII'. From my point of view Abby set a perfect stage for the Annual special. As for CYCH, C.E.O. of CyberCash, Mr. Melton had equal time with Scott McNealy of Sun Microsystems, Jerry Yang of Yahoo. I believe a lot of people and especially fund managers actually put as much stock in the management of a company, as they do the sector. CYCH's CEO got a tremendous build up by Louis R. His conservative approach fit nicely. He emphasized that until recently, there has not been enough variety and selections to attract people to e-commerce in large numbers. And that the huge increase we have recently seen, has finally given us the variety of selections necessary to attract the large numbers. Most importantly, he emphasized that the amount of e-commerce has tripled since 1998 and would continue to triple year over year for the foreseeable future. It sounded very good to me, not hypey, but in the backdrop of Abby J Cohen, and the huge interest/need to facilitate the safe and simple exchange of money on the net, it sounded pretty bullish to me.
