For the past several months, buying Amazon when it dips within a few weeks after options expiration and selling around expiration has been the formula for risk-less success. As many times as it has happened, investors just don't learn from the patterns - shorts keep shorting at the wrong time and longs keep buying right at the height of the frenzy. All that I can say is: "Please keep it up!!!"

The pattern with Yahoo has happened for the past few earnings periods - it went down last quarter despite having much better results than anticipated and issuing glowing expectations. These stocks mushroom on dreams not reality. Any reality doesn't look as good as the dreams that have speculators creaming in their pants.
