I just want to make sure I got this straight. Softbank buys 400 million worth of etrade stock, which allows etrade to then buy 4.3 mill of advertising from yhoo.

Where's the beef? Looks like conjecture and supposition of intent based on circumstantial evidence to me. I am not saying it's not true, but the bears have lost, basically, all credibility when it come to claiming the "Top" is here.

Looks like these folks enjoyed the Meeker letter. Familiar catch phrases were borrowed. Just returned from 2-day business trip. Ouch! What happened. Good thing that I try not to play while I am away. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. If I was ridiculed in prior messages, I probably won't go back and read all of them. Repeat them if they are good.

In an industry where missing the 'whisper' can be easily corrected (and rewarded with almost a 100% gain in a week) with an explaination of 'the whisper was just too high', do you really think that story will matter?

As for YHOO, all that will matter next week will be the # of shares in the split. A 4/1 will be viewed as very positive as it will be 'one more share than AMZN gave it shareholders' Remember, this is an industry where market cap doesn't matter, only stock price. How many times have you seen the comment (before last weeks split) that YHOO has to catch up with AMZN's price? Now I see comments that AMZN is a good buy since its one of the 'cheaper' net stocks.

>Get ready for a bloodbath.

Maybe by summer when people are at the beach and not at their computers (....but rest assured, there will be PR that this wwill be good for AMZN since 'people read a lot of books at the beach')

Good Luck
