Yes, the failures of "experts" are legion.
Experts at Decca Records turned down the Beatles in 1962 because the guitar was soon to be a thing of the past.
Popular Mechanics said, "Some day the computer may weigh as little as 1.5 tons."
The expert who developed television said man would Never walk on the moon no matter how advanced science got.
And many computer experts failed to see the PC revolution.
