<<...as designed? What struggle? I find your opinion of my purposelessness to be quite entertaining!>>

Designed to choose between worshipping the materialism of the world and higher principles of human cause.

All the wars, oppression, striving for wealth and power that you can bring up are based on the worship of materialism. The issue is always in one form or another either realistate or more social domination. Always has been always will be.

The struggle is minute by minute hour by hour until the end of all things, to resist the attractive temptations to sell out our humanity for materialistic benefit.

I don't know you, so I am not saying your life is purposeless but if you are living for the materialistic rewards of the moment then my opinion is supported by my religion, and history. Check out all the literature of all of the cultures of all times and tell me it isn't so. Fiction doesn't count. I know about Cinderella and summarily reject the happily ever after premise.

<<Spirituality and faith are not "religion".>>

Sorry, I define the components of my religion to definitely include faith, scripture, spirituality and practical involvement and aplication in life. You can obtain definitions where ever you want but this is what I am presenting.
