An email I got recently from a relative: "Hi John, Thanks for the reference to that article about the National Guard. I copied it for folks at the Ranch too. We're also looking into solar water pumps and already have some large batteries although we have no solar panels as yet. Probably get them this month. The solar energy man we talked to said in a few months there won't be enough solar equipment to meet the demand. He has his own factory and is busy day and night. Only started a year and a half ago and he's already a multimillionaire. A gunshot[sic] owner told ---------------- he had already been inventoried by the FBI for Y2K and was planning to just pack up his stock and head for the hills. -------- was buying a shotgun up there in Calif.
