Gee, Ram, I also have a hunch that ESS might
shoot through $9 by end of next week.

Let's see whether I am right or not.

To be honest, I have been making a lot of money with ESS in 96 and early 97. I lost quite a bundle after 4/18/1997 and yet
to recover. However, I never lost faith in it and I purchased
at 16, 13 and all the way to sub 6 that's where I stopped.
I bought some at 3 that I could not resist and my wife
was upset with me. She thought something must fundamentally
went wrong with ESS for which I can not defend ESS or myself.

I kept my faith with ESS because
(1) ESS will outsell CUBE in China re SVCD and DVD decoders;
(2) ESS will dominate PCI audio market;
and
(3) ESS will enter the Internet chip set business with its
video, audio and modem know-how. There simply are no other
companies in the world that possess all of the above three
core competencies.

The only thing I have not done over the last 3 years
was I never shorted ESS.
If I had known ESS will drop from $33 to $12 in a short period
of time in 1997, I would have sold some contracts to protect
my investment and profits. But that was hindsight.
