<I live in the woods (for now) and hang out there while the storm gets closer and closer, till you feel the electricity in the air and the rock of the thunder goes through you.> I used to feel that way until I got home one summer evening, stepped out of the car and the next thing I remember is waking up on the ground soaking wet. Seems a bolt of lightning hit about 10 feet from me, knocked me on my ass and I hit my head on the driveway, which temporarily knocked me out. Nothing like a good Midwest thunderstorm.
