Amein, Thanks for the response. I contacted Schwab the other day and will participate in the IPO. I think it looks like a sound company with a great product. I think within 6 months of going public they will be a takeover target (MSFT or SUNW). Their software is so well established, from my research, that they will not fade away like some other IPO's. Cold Fusion's strength is not only in it's database access capabilities which are quite powerful. It has emailing capabilities - both automatic generation of emails and ability to read and respond. It also has excellent file handling capabilities. You can receive files via the http file tranfer protocols - meaning you can send files "through" a web page - and also move, copy and delete files anywhere in a network. You can also read and write text files. Once you have developed a system, there is an encoder that can encode all of your html files - important for distributing an application so that others can steal your code.
