Next CMGI ipo??? Take your pick.... by: almostcriticalmass 11265 of 11275 I posted this list late last night/early morning, so I'm sure most of you missed it. Yeah, we're splitting Monday 250+, but for any of you with the slightest inkling of selling afterwards, please check out these CMGI-owned sites. One of these will be the next IPO (which will be announced very soon). Expect one IPO per quarter for 1999. There's 23MM outstanding shares, but 54% is institutionally owned (Microsoft, Intel, Sumitomo, etc) and 10% is held by insiders. That leaves an actual float of only 8MM shares. Split it, and that's 16MM. Float will still be miniscule, market cap is miniscule compared to other internet gorillas, and we'll always have the soiled shorts to cream. We're still in the baby stage on this one.
