Roebear and others...go back and check the action last Oct 98....You will see the pattern repeating itself, ball by ball....OSX sold off during earnings warning period, then moved higher as earning came out and investors saw that the Sky wasn't falling after all....Those who didn't warn were rewarded the most....So I expect the OSX to climb above 70 between now and end of month...If oil prices stay above $13.00 and climb up to $14.00 and above, well we could see mid to high 70's..The bulls in the oil patch FOUGHT 2 rigorous days of selling bad held up VERY well...But we will have to see what happens next week...The cold weather will lend support to Oil prices , at least until Chavez is sworn in on Fed 2nd, I believe,..At which time the market will respond to his first official comments on maintaining oil cuts and not cheating...
