John, you've been conservative so a "50" target from you is great to see. I sold my Jan '99 30's at a nice profit on Friday and continue to hold the stock plus a sackful of Jan '00 30's. I'm thinking "50 - 60" by year end if the TV side isn't sold by then.

The 17 analysts who cover CBS rate it an average of 1.3 on a 1 to 5 scale with 1 being "strong buy." That's a terrific rating. In response to an earlier comment, there's nothing stopping analysts, by the way, from "reiterating" strong buys which will often move stocks also.

I also think that earnings will be a pleasant surprise this time around and the conference call will be very upbeat. Karmazin, CEO and principal shareholder, wants the stock price up there where he thinks it belongs!
