Theme rooms for various periods and categories. Kind of like the hard rock cafe.

Actually, there are a bunch of retro sites and specialty music sites out their already....

Check out dustygroove.com for Soul, Jazz, Latin, Brazil, and Funk

Pricey....

Also there is indiemusic.co.uk for independent labels...

Don't really know the best way to compete with the specialists because a lot of their collections are pretty esoteric

Pass it on to the idea boys and girls at TSIG!!
Maybe something to ponder as part of the package for a new site.
With each retro page having the ambiance of the era or type of music, like separate rooms each with its own atmosphere.
