Sharon, look at the DBCC chart in december, and also look at the BEAS chart. In both cases there was one day exactly one hour when the MMs shook out people on margin and with blank nerves (and 8' stops in DBCC). It was the same day (I remember as I picked up BEAS stock exactly that day at 8 13/16 and DBCC on the next one.) I watched DBCC action and saw it carried up with trades on the bids the next $2.

That was the DBCC shake beyond 8 (7 21/32) and BEAS at 8 11/16....

The DBCC shake to 16+ recently was roughly of the same making. I look at charts very often to learn and to react better in future cases.
