Carl and thread,

These are some thoughts I posted on the RMBS thread on the INTC/MU deal. Could not MU be in the catbird seat with regard to RDRAM production and sales?

And if other DRAM manu's do not ramp up RDRAM production quickly and MU does ramp up due to the INTC deal, then MU could sell most of its production to INTC at a nice profit. Right?

All thoughts on RDRAM issue are appreciated.

The more I think about this, the more inclined I am to believe that MU will reap significant profits from RDRAM production.

We discussed this weekend some of the cap ex issues on infrastructure build out- Intel took care of it with the $500M capital infusion. This puts real pressure on the others to fall in line. If other DRAM manu's do not ramp up quickly, then Intel simply purchases most, if not all, of MU's RDRAM production.....
