I am not talking about "collectivism." I am talking about the good of the society, which is, after all, made up of individuals. Just as individuals form a society. Now if you want to argue that society is an illusion, then I give up.

What I am saying is that ever since homo sapiens lived in hunting gathering groups (the beginning of human time in that sense), there have always been conflicts between the good of the individul (as he saw it) and the overall good of the group (as the group saw it).

IMO, such conflicts are inherent in the social nature of individual human existence.

A corporation IS a collective. A business IS a collective. A collective is merely an organized unit of humanity- we certainly could never have gotten into space without units of men working on missions - ie COLLECTIVES. How do you function with such a mind? I am continually amazed by your complete lack of insight, and blindness to the fallacies you post here.
