ONPT rumors persist of a deal with France to sell lottery tickets online. Don't know the logistics of this and I don't believe US citizens would be able to legally participate. Would most likely require some sort of proof of citizenship from the country the game originates from and/or the country the participant is entering from. Seems a little far fetched to me, but the rumor is persistent.....

OSFT-another piece of the puzzle:

I get the feeling that this small company is right between a large retailer like Blockbuster, and content providers like…. Well what MSFT would like to become. Remember when they wanted to go after a "tiny slice" of every on-line transaction, perhaps by acquiring a company like Quicken, which the courts stopped.

Of course MSFT brags on any company that uses their tools well, as advertising for themselves. But I keep thinking, this small company couldn't handle a Mega-(blockbuster) deal without some real deep pockets behind them…

I mean Internet kiosks, what use at all could that be to MSFT?? And what if someone else (SUN/AOL/etc…) did it first???
