I don't want to be misunderstood. Much of internet "investing" is a bubble, ATHM is not. Web based retail will be even more cutthroat and hard to keep a meager profit than even todays retail. Only the consumer and the shipping companies will benefit. Everyone will have a web store- so what? It's like advertising on TV or having a catalog. Why hasn't J.C. Penney's exploded because it has a web site selling its catalog? Because it reminds people that web based retail is just another way of buying by catalog and thats uninspiring. They dont want to see. The internet is about to become routine and only those who are central to the everyday routine will be successful. Those that build the internet and provide the service and those that will be the central content providers. ATHM will be all three of these since in essense they have created their own broadband internet, provide the ISP function, and will be a major provider of broadband content. However, fear not-the bubble will take a very long time before it "pops", and I think the pop will be rather slow as people wake up to how routine and unexciting the internet will become. Eric
