Zebra, It looks to me like this incompetence of the FDA issue is gaining momentum. And Viagra is always mentioned as the primary example of the FDA giving approval of a drug without first properly screening for safety. That article forgot to mention all the soft money contributed to the politicians who supported the fast tracking of drugs. The politicians forget that the law was intended to get approval for drugs that could help patients that otherwise might die (eg AIDS drugs) and not lifestyle drugs such as Viagra.
