That's right, Wingman. If we just believe hard enough, it will become true. If we repeat what we want over and over, we will eventually get it. The fervor of our prayers is what creates reality. Conviction connotes truth and faith is the only way to get anything done. All other epistemologies are repugnant. Sid must be some kind of a madman, or at the very least a heathen, to think that logic, carefully tested against whatever reliable empirical data can be gathered, could ever be a basis for making a decision. That would be dangerous, since the rest of us are too stupid to see through any fallacious arguments he might make due to a bias on his part, and way too stupid to rebut them logically should they be less than completely obvious. Everyone please keep bashing Sid and hoping hard. Maybe we could suggest that Ballard add a prayer department to their R & D. Then everything would be fine for sure.
