I went to dinner with a friend that maintains telco equipment last night. He services and runs a wide variety of telco equipment. I ask him his thoughts on the quality of the equipment and his feeling regarding the company in general for the companies he deals with. AFCI - He hated it. They have terrible customer service. Pair - He liked it. He said some other things that I forget now. Ciena - He lit up. He likes it. I guess the quality and customer service is there. ASND - First class all the way. Great diagnostics, a pleasure to run the equipment. Alcatel - The equipment is awful. When something goes wrong, there its very hard to diagnose. Being familiar with customer sentiment might be useful to the thread, especially the fundamentalists. This is just the guy's feelings, but to me, it means a lot. I was surprised about the feelings about afci. I'm off that wagon now. Glenn
